Martin Lippert

Martin works at VMware as part of the core Spring engineering team on developer tooling for everything Spring. He co-leads the team that ships all the Spring Tools for Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, and Theia, and contributes to various open source projects in the developer tools space. Beyond that he is continuously doing research about developer tools and new innovations in this space of developer tools and IDEs - especially in the area of cloud native application development and cloud environments. In addition to the Spring Tools he also works on sustainability in software engineering, researching ways to make software itself and software engineering more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
